ICBC Berlin 2022 Set To Be Biggest Yet

  • Share

The rising legal worldwide cannabis market is larger than ever and expanding at a breakneck pace. The next several years will be pivotal in influencing the business for decades to come.

As a result, there has never been a better moment to join the sector, and there is no better venue to do it than the International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC), which will take place July 19-20 at the Estrel Berlin Hotel in Berlin.

The ICBC’s main event is Europe’s largest and longest-running cannabis B2B event, known for its unique combination of policy, business, and entertainment.

ICBC Berlin, positioned as “planet Earth’s premier Cannabis Business and Networking Event” will host over 5000 participants and is slated to become the epicenter of the global discussion, with visits from a plethora of German politicians, attorneys, and stakeholders.

ICBC events are the ideal opportunity for cannabis innovators and inventors to get their goods or services in front of the cannabis industry’s top influencers and decision makers, as well as for investors to network with aspiring entrepreneurs.

The Cutting Edge of European Cannabis

The Estrel is not just the largest venue of its sort in Berlin, but also the largest in Germany. The location is unparalleled and will be ideal for hosting the world’s top cannabis policy and business leaders.

The International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC) sponsored a panel last year in Berlin that brought together officials from every major political party in Germany for a first-of-its-kind cannabis policy discussion. The panel took place only weeks before Germany’s election in 2021.

The Traffic Light Coalition was founded as a result of that election, and much of what was addressed during the ICBC panel has since been the main focus of evolving cannabis policy in Germany. It’s just one of many examples of how ICBC can provide so much cutting-edge information, insight, and expertise. This year’s Berlin event will include a similar panel hosted by Jürgen Neumeyer, managing director of the German Cannabis Association, with Bundestag members from all coalition parties attending.

Germany has the largest economy in Europe and the fourth largest economy in the world. It is not a question of if or whether Germany will legalize cannabis for adult use; it is just a matter of when. The timing of this year’s conference couldn’t be better, as Germany is about to launch the world’s largest legal, regulated adult-use market.

“Given the favorable political context for cannabis legalization, we are especially enthusiastic about this year’s conference in Berlin,” adds ICBC Founder Alex Rogers. “At such a critical point for Europe’s developing cannabis business, it will be particularly special for our team to provide world-class cannabis industry and policy education, networking, and entertainment to guests.”

Invest Capital, Seek Capital

Prior to the B2B event, ICBC will organize a one-day Global Investment Forum on July 18 in Berlin’s Hotel Adlon, with a VIP reception the night before. The forum will include hand-picked cannabis startups pitching in front of leading investors on the ICBC’s main stage. It’s a fantastic chance for cannabis firms to present their products and services to seasoned industry investors. Service providers looking for dependable and high-end clientele are also welcome to attend the pitch session.

After the B2B event, participants will be able to enjoy one of ICBC’s legendary after parties. Morgan Heritage, a multi-Grammy award-winning reggae band, will perform at this year’s after party. This is the ideal way to conclude the International Cannabis Business Conference after days of learning from actual cannabis professionals and networking with cannabis fans from across the world.

The leading cannabis specialists in the global cannabis market will lead panels and presentations at the Global Investment Forum and B2B conference in Berlin.

Leading policymakers, executives, and entrepreneurs from around the world attend ICBC events, with over 80 nations represented in prior events. The Berlin ICBC conference alone is projected to attract over 5,000 people as well as 350 firms, sponsors, and exhibitors.
