Have you ever wondered which cannabis cultivation facilities produce the most cannabis?

If you’re inquisitive and want to learn more about the world’s largest cultivation locations, stay reading for your dose of cannabis education.

Before we go any further, keep in mind that Canada is the largest country with recreational cannabis legalization.

Furthermore, the United States is gradually catching up with its state-by-state method of legalization, so it stands to reason that the majority of growing facilities are located on North American soil.

HEXO Corp – Ontario & Quebec

This huge agriculture complex is spread over Ontario and Quebec, Canada.

In reality, at 2,000,000 square feet, it is one of the largest in the vast white north. The production facility at HEXO Corp. was first established to cultivate cannabis for medical marijuana patients.

That swiftly changed when recreational marijuana was legalized in Canada.

HEXO Corp is now promoting adult-use cannabis through brands such as HEXO, HEXO Plus, Up, Original Stash, Bake Sale, and HEXO medicinal cannabis.

Los Sueños Farms – Colorado

Since legalization, this cultivation facility in Pueblo, Colorado, has become one of the state’s largest.

It is family-owned and situated on a spacious 1,428,000 square feet of land.

Los Sueños takes great satisfaction in its cautious and environmentally friendly methods. It’s cannabis is largely cultivated in the sun and is organic, and it is grown on 36 outdoor acres with a tiny indoor component.

This cultivation site made the move from a greenhouse into a full-blown cannabis farm that also manufactures edibles.

It started as a garden for tomatoes, but now, it’s expanded into a 1,700,000 square foot cannabis cultivation facility. The site runs sustainable and eco-friendly practices that involve natural sunlight for growth.

Copperstate Farms has an entire kitchen dedicated to its edible roll-out and another lab for extracting cannabis distillate.

The building is 3,484,800 square feet in size and has several sites around the state.

Mammoth Farms has been a prominent contributor in supplying Colorado’s demand for recreational marijuana since it was legalized in 2012.

It began as a medicinal growing site in 2014, but has now evolved to sell every type of cannabis product on the market.

Ultra Health – New Mexico

Ultra Health first opened its doors in 2018, and it has since remained the world’s largest cultivation facility.

This massive cannabis facility spans 9,213,000 square feet, which is equivalent to 52 Walmart shops.

All Ultra Health productions benefit thirty various dispensaries that serve both medicinal and recreational customers.

Ultra Health plans to expand by 225,000 square feet in response to the recent recreational legalization in New Mexico.

In Conclusion

It’s simple to see why Colorado boasts two of the world’s largest cultivation facilities.

Although there are many more facilities in Canada, the United States enjoys taking operations to the extreme with enormous procedures and acres of land.

If you reside in one of the states or provinces listed above, chances are you’ve smoked cannabis from one of these locations.
