Mike Tyson & Evander Holyfield are Launching Cannabis-Infused Edibles ‘Holy Ears’

Boxing champions and former adversaries Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield are collaborating to produce “Holy Ears,” a range of cannabis-infused edibles.

The partnership was unveiled last week, 25 years after the duo’s historic heavyweight title fight, in which Tyson was disqualified for biting a piece out of Holyfield’s ear.

The former rivals have reformed under the newly founded cannabis firm Carma Holdings, which also contains Tyson 2.0, Tyson’s current cannabis venture.

The ear-shaped, THC-infused “Holy Ears” treats are distributed by Tyson 2.0 Global, through which Holyfield plans to launch his own brand in 2023.

In a personal statement Holyfield said: “Mike and I have a long history of competition and respect for one another. And that night changed both of our lives. Back then, we didn’t realize that even as power athletes, we were also in a lot of pain. Now, nearly 20 years later, we have the opportunity to share the medicine we really needed throughout our careers.”

Tyson himself echoed his former opponent and new business partner’s sentiments: “From Mike Bites to Holy Ears, now cannabis fans around the world can experience the same wellness benefits that plant-based products have brought me. If I was on cannabis, I wouldn’t have bit his ear.”

The Holy Ears gummies are 25mg per piece and come in three flavors: “Cherry Pie Punch,” “Sour Apple Punch,” and “Black Eye Berry.” The snacks are also gluten-free, vegan, and all-natural.

Delta 8 Holy Ears snacks, priced at $30 USD per bag, are now available on the Tyson 2.0 Global website as well as at retail locations in Arizona, Illinois, Nevada and New Jersey.
